Here's what you need to know and do once you've purchased a Class Pack:
1) If you are a NEW client, submit a Health Questionnaire at least 24 hours before your first class
2) Register for each class you plan to attend, up to the size limit of your Class Pack
3) Our Class Cancellation Policy!
4) What to wear/bring
Due to Covid-19 safeguarding you will now need to bring your own mat, head cushion (if you use one), ball and stretchy theraband to in-person group classes at HBC Community Centre. You will also need these if you plan to do our Online Zoom classes. If you wish to attend the Pilates Plus Resistance classes you will also need a set of small handweights (0.5-1.5kg) and ankleweights (0.5-1kg). Wear clothes you can easily move in and clean socks if you attend classes in-person at HBC.
5) Please arrive 5 minutes early. No late admittance!
Strictly no entry after the class has started! You will have missed the warmup and it may be unsafe for you to exercise. It's also disruptive for the teacher and the rest of the class. Ensure you have the correct location. If you are unsure of where to go, view the location page and click on the venue

7) Staying in Touch
By signing up for classes, you're becoming a My Local Pilates member. We'll almost certainly need to email you during the term e.g. a class time changes or if we need feedback on what you want from classes. We consider you to be an active member for 12 months after the last class you attended with us. You may unsubscribe from our Newsletter and distribution list at any time if you wish via the Unsubscribe option at the bottom of the newsletter or by emailing me directly

1) If you are a NEW client, submit a Health Questionnaire at least 24 hours before your first class
2) Register for each class you plan to attend, up to the size limit of your Class Pack
- This will reserve you a space and add your name to the class register for that date and time
- Spaces are first come, first served. Some classes may become oversubscribed and a Waitlist will come into operation, so registering early gives you the best chance of attending a space in the class of your choice. You may reschedule closer to the time (more on this in Point 2 below!)
- All class credits must be used by the date on which your Class Pack applies - strictly no transfer of unused credits and no refunds will be given
- We do our best to offer a timetable to suit your needs, but do reserve the right to cancel classes if numbers are very low
- It is your responsibility to ensure the class level is right for you
3) Our Class Cancellation Policy!
- If you cannot attend a session you have previously registered for, please "Unregister", even if it's just 10 minutes before the start time, as this lets the teacher know you won't be there and the class can begin on time.
- If you need to cancel a class, you must "Unregister" via your online account at least...
*8 hours before the start of evening classes*
*12 hours before the start of morning classes*
...in order for the class to be credited back onto your account. You may then register for an alternative class that same term. Unregistering after the cancellation deadline or "no shows" will be lost and you won't be able to make these up. No refunds will be given - If a class is full, add yourself to the Waitlist. If a spot becomes available more than 12 hours before the class begins, you'll be automatically added to the register and will receive an email. Please note, this only happens if you have available credit on your Class Pack. If a space becomes available less than 12 hours before the start of the class, you'll receive an email prompting you to confirm your space. You have 3 hours to do this, before the space is offered to the next client on the waitlist.
- If any client continually misses classes they have registered for, My Local Pilates reserves the right to Unregister them from future classes to allow another client the opportunity to attend. The classes will be re-credited to the your Class Pack and you will be contacted to discuss which classes you can attend.

6) Please also be aware;
- Access to HBC Community Centre is via the fire escape doors directly from Barnabas Road. To open the gate, press the green button behind the handle. If there is a class preceding yours and it's cold/wet, feel free to come in, through the studio and wait in the corridor!
- Classes at Victoria Park Harriers are held upstairs in the Old Gym, which is separate and in the building adjacent to the Main Hall. Toilets/changing are in the Main Hall. If the door to the main hall is locked, find the teacher who will be able to let you in
- All venues are community venues and used by other local groups for other purposes than Pilates. We do our best to maintain a pleasant environment in which to practice, however please do not expect a boutique, swanky studio!
